Christmas Dance recital and Family pics.

Last night our girls performed in thier first Christmas recital. The Dance group has not done a recital at Christmas before. They did so well. After the recital Carolyn and I decided that since thier hair already done that we would try and get our family pics done too. I think that they turned out good. Carolyn has now lost 57 pounds and I have lost 55. Hard to believe how over weight we were. What difference! Anyways here's our pics

My mom made the dresses again this year. I think that they get better every year. I don't know what we would do without her. We are so lucky to have her.

This is before the dance recital. Thay had all of the parents bring a wrapped gift to the recital to donate to a needy family this year and they used them as the decorations at the recital. What a great idea. If you knew of a needy family, you were invited to come up and pics some of them out and take them to the family that was in need.

All Decked Out

We finally finished our decorating for the holidays. I didn't think it would actually happen before time to take it all down. I think it turned out great!

This is the family room

another view in the family room

Family room again

this is the entry, it is our Santa Collection

The living room tree. We have the lenox collectables and glass ornaments on this tree.

In the living room we have put ourcollection of nativities.

This is above the sink in the kitchen. We made these the year we were selling them to raise money to do invetro-fertilization to get McKenna and Ellyce. I we made so many Santa's that we thought we were going to throw up Santa's for the rest of our lives.

More Gingerbread

On Sunday the 7th of December we went to Sam and Lara's to do more gingerbread. We took Keith with us. we had a great time.
McKenna was already into the frosting

Look how good Carolyn looks. As of today She has lost 54 pounds.
I have lost 46.
I just love Ellyce's frosting on the face shot.

Fantasy and Frost

Every year, usually the first weekend in December the city has a Fantasy and Frost at the Heritage center. Different Dance groups are invited to perform, and in the lobby there are trees decorated to sell and Santa is there. This year was no different. the girls danced and we went out and looked at the trees after.

Parents Day at Dance, and Ward party

We had parents day at Dance two weeks ago. I am slow getting it on the post. This is Ellyce's new costume for the year. It also has a hat that goes with it.

This is one of Mckenna, she also has a green lyrical dress.

Two weeks ago we also had our first Christmas party of the year. It was our Ward party and I didn't have to do a thing this year. Santa came of course.

See what we have to deal with on a regular basis.

Ellyce was a little shy, but when it came to telling him what she wanted she wasn't.

Tradition

The weekend after Thanksgiving our family gets together with all the cousin's to have a gingerbread house making party to kick off the Christmas season. Here are some pics of our house.

Diet Update: as of today Dec. 5th Carolyn has lost 47 and I have lost 39 pounds.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went ot St. George to have a fun weekend. The girls got to spend time playing with their cousin's and Carolyn and I were able to walk every morning. It was so fun! We went on Wednesday and had a doctors apointment with Dr. Carter. Carolyn has lost 45 pounds. So awesome! I have lost 32. If I hadn't been a wimp and quit and started back up three weeks later, I would have lost more.
Here is Ellyce waiting patiently.

Here we are.

Mckenna and Baylee were eager to help set the table.

We had 26 people there to eat, it was a house full. Good food and fun Family.
